The Icebreaker

A small asset-jam with my friend, in which he made an amazing ice-axe, and I made this shield. The shield is supposed to be a fantasy viking king’s way to clear and break the ice in front of a column of longboats when frozen in in the northern regions of the north sea. The king would be holding the shield up to protect himself from the blizzards, get in front of the column, and with huge amounts of force slam it down on the ice with the stone fist on the bottom of the shield in order to crack whatever amounts of thick polar ice were in front of him.
